The Mayor is Coming!
The Fairfield Civic League will meet at 7:00pm on Monday, May 11 at Fairfield Elementary School. The Honorable Williams Sessoms, Mayor of Virginia Beach, will be our guest speaker!

 
Sidewalk Petition

Volunteers will be coming around with the sidewalk petition for Lord Dunmore and Fairfield Blvd. There have been a number of serious accidents in our community and we are trying to get sidewalk to keep our residents safe.

The Civic League Meetings for this year are as follows:

May 11th

All meetings will be held at 7:00 pm in the Cafeteria of Fairfield Elementary School. We hope to see you there!

Road Project

The Fairfield Civic League wants you to be aware of the two major road projects in our neighborhood. One is the project to widen Witchduck Road and the other is to redo the intersection of Princess Anne and Kempsville Roads. Library Closure

 The Kempsville Library is closed until September 2009 for remodeling. In the meantime, the City Treasurer's Office in Fairfield Shopping Center has an express office for pickup of reserved books. The nearest libraries are the Bayside Special Services Library and the Meyera Oberdorf Central Library.
